Mastercard Test & Learn® helped the hotel chain understand the true incremental impact of a $5 rack rate increase and other strategies to maximize profits.
The rack rate increase drove a 250-basis point reduction in occupancy for test properties, offset by an ADR increase of $4.87. Test & Learn® identified a subset of properties which would benefit from the rate increase, resulting in $4MM in incremental revenue per year.
